Josephine Carter

Well known in her field for her work with officers who have PTSD, she was requested specifically by Captain Myers to serve on the Galaxy. With the expectation that Galaxy will soon deploy on a long term exploration mission, Myers wanted the best of the best to lead the counseling department for a ship filled with officers still scarred from Frontier Day.

Warm and kind, Carter has a reputation on the ship as easy to talk to but she and her staff face the challenge of trying to administer care to the hundreds of crew members on the ship, almost all of which still feel the after effects of Frontier Day and many simply wish to bury the trauma and move on.
