Many people know Aio as a former part of the Bravo Fleet Command Council, but since the transition, a lot of people don’t know that Aio has been doing a lot behind the scenes for Bravo Fleet as part of the Conservatorship. Aio easily could’ve just gone into the shadows and only popped his head in once in a while, but instead has been an overwhelmingly massive help in all things Bravo Fleet. He supports us with hosting, is out there hosting BF games for free through his private company, helps Emily and I with server and BFMS issues, coordinates with me and others on donation funds and paying the bills. Aio just keeps giving and giving to Bravo Fleet, and for that, we are immensely grateful.
The Starfleet Medal of Commendation is awarded once a year to players who show extreme dedication and resilience to their task force and Bravo Fleet as a whole. This medal, given on Gene Roddenberry’s birthday, recognizes those in our community who go above and beyond their call to service.
This medal is typically awarded to sims in a Task Force. However, due to extraordinary circumstances, I am electing to bestow this award on seven individuals, Aio, Wizardbeard, Stephen, Temple, Teix, BlackWolf, and Beeman, for their involvement in the “Negotiations” miniseries hosted between Palais de la Concorde and Starbase 72. This grand experiment was a rousing success, ensuring that the Federation would not lose access to a cornerstone area of 72’s Area of Operations, the Inconnu Expanse.
The USS Magellan was one of our first responders to the formation of the Alrakis Pact, plunging deep into the Alrakis Pact, dropping by Deep Space Seven’s former location, and also gathered intelligence on a few things the Pact is attempting to hide. This medal is awarded to its GM, Aio, on behalf of the entire sim.
