With concerning amounts of combat, and intrigue that had been popping up all over the expanse, Starfleet reassigned both the Soval and Slivin to other duties in the region.

The Irrawaddy and Culver City would remain at Derganix and complete the archaeological dig in the remote region of the northern hemisphere of the planet, which the Dergans had agreed to allow as a part of their recent treaty. The 80 members of the Blythe crew would stay and assist with the dig, the rest would be out up in temporary accommodations on the CC, until the Santa Monica arrived with their new assignment in tow.

Wong, Ingram, Singh, Tesa, Lasage and Mee IH would stay aboard the Irrawaddy, and form the nucleus of a senior staff. Doc Lady, Abernathy and Commander Aruin would be the senior officers in charge of the former Blythe crew aboard the CC.

“So we have, basically our entire science department, a few engineers and a small tactical team at the dig site. The 6 of us here, and the remaining 60 or so are on the CC?” Wong asked.

“Yep, that’s the plan, Santa Monica departed Framheim a day ago, she should be arriving the day after tomorrow.” Ingram responded.

“Well, let’s make ourselves useful and head down to the dig site. Lend a hand there. Lasage, set a course.”

“High eye, mon capitan.” Lasage replied.

“In our free time lets keep working on finding evidence to help the Captain with his case.” Wong concluded. Each person on the runabout felt a loyalty and genuinely wished to help see the Captain exonerated.

“Fuck yeah sir, those are charges are half baked nonsense. Between Joe, Bob, and I we know or have family ties with about 80% of the cetacean ops departments in the fleet. You said the world we’ll have ever ship hear to Andor dropped out of warp until they drop the case against him, sir.” Mee IH squeeked. And he meant it to, he and his boys could make the work stoppage of 2363, and the labour dispute of 2387 look like picnics. By promoting Mee IH and having him sit in the centre seat, Tyler had alot of fans and admirers especially amongst the tsiopsid and pygmy beluga populations, and they could all see through the concocted charges against Fred. Command was getting back at him for signing his name to a memo that referred to the events of 2363 and 2387 as anything other then a mutiny.

“I appreciate you’re zeal and devotion to the our CO Mee IH, but I have a feeling that would actually make matters a while lot worse for him.” Wong replied.

“Yeah, you’re sir, I’m just so pissed that they would do something like this just to keep us aquatic officers in our place.” Mee IH smacked the edge of console quite hard with his tail flipper, showing a suprising amount of virility for a Beluga of his advanced age.
