She wasn’t permitted to do any work, of any kind. She wanted to let out an internal scream so loud it could wake the dead. She looked over the biobeds that was once filled with her away team, they had recovered nicely. They were all relatively young, the doors burst open, entering with Lacroix was and Dr Jovan who seemed to be rolling in a monitor.

“Entertainment?” Meila smirked.

“I wouldn’t say that now Meila.” Came the voice of Captain Chris Donovan.

As the doctor placed the monitor her also turned on the privacy forcefield. “Chris, what do I owe the pleasure? Last time we talked you told me about Darren.”

A pause… “Yeah I wish there was something we could of done. Listen to his pleas. Not brush them off like a mad man.” Chris said, Meila nodded.

“It seems you and the Powhatan have gotten off to an interesting start. We here have read your report, and well your first officers and feel the need to have you investigate the tears.” Chris took a pause.

“Tears? What tears?” Meila questioned.

Sylvain held up his hand and gave a short explanation, “You see Ael and T’Mal theorized that something inside the solar system was causing the rip.”

“I see, wouldn’t a Science ship be better suited? I can name seven in orbit of SB93 right now.” Meila protested.

“Yes and no… lets just say Starfleet likes you. Oh and you are getting an officer today, pertaining to your office job. Good luck!” The commline closed.

“Nice to see you too…” she turned and grabbed Sylvain’s hand and squeezed it tightly. “Get me out of here.”
