Location: Overwatch Station, CO Ready Room 

Elsie it open a communication channel with the USS Oakland and the USS Paso Robles and wanted to speak to both of their commanding officers. She waited on the line for both of them to arrive. 

Renato was the first one to answer, he smiled as he just not as simply to the Commodore. “Good morning ma’am.” Renato said with the big smile on his face.

“Good Morning, Elsie, Captain.” Byron said with a smile. He remembered last time he called her a commodore and she had teasingly corrected him.

“The man learns. I mean you could call me Commodore if you really want to but I think it’s just silly. Now let’s get on to business gentlemen. The Tal Shair have been lurking in the area and I want you guys to verify that they’re not around first you’re going to make your normal delivery drop then I want you to go opposite into the system but make your way slowly towards us I’m going to also have one of our runabouts close in another part of that coverage zone I’ve uploaded you where else I want you to take to extend our sensor range and see if there any shifts in the area. If they’re out there I want them exposed, your objective is not to engage with them, it’s expose them. And avoid conflict at all costs.” Elsie said knowing that their actions would potentially be a conflict within itself. 

“Only concerned about creating a conflict with the Romulan star Empire and primarily the Tal Shair?” Renato asked he looked over to Elsie.

“Potentially yes, but we’re going to minimize as much as possible. If we don’t do anything they’re just going to take that as a opportunity to just have free reign within our territory.” Elsie pointed out to him as he looked over to Byron and then back to him.

“We need to make our presence known so they won’t feel that we can be pushed.” Byron said in agreement. “That being said we need to be prepared should they react in aggression towards either of us.” 

“Let’s hope it does not come to that.” Elsie suggested it to both men. She then continued on. “Well I think we have a consensus of what we’re going to do, if you have any issues please contact me for anything you can’t just head back to the station.” She said as the scene starts to fade away.

Renato simply nodded his head as he went on to say. “Pretty straightforward myself along with Captain Coleman, will flush out the Romulans if they’re there.”

“We are ready.” Byron said with a nod. “We will get it done.” The scene fades away.
