~Dr. Martin Luther King

Deep Space 12 hosts trade negotiations between the Federation, the Romulan Republic, and the Ferengi Commerce Authority. If successful, the negotiations promise to open new shipping lines, strengthen diplomatic ties, and curb pirate activity in the sector.

However, not everyone welcomes that future.

As carefully timed disruptions and manufactured crises threaten to derail the talks, Fleet Captain Shaw discovers that some of the most powerful people in the sector have grown wealthy from its instability. And they have no intention of allowing peace talks to affect their profits.

While diplomats talk across a table, another battle is forming in cargo manifests, trade ledgers, and public perception. Here everything is measured by one agreement at a time.
