Part of Bravo Fleet: Crossroads

USS Glendale (Archived)

Post-Chrysalis

After a rushed recommissioning effort left USS Glendale stranded at Starbase Bravo, a new captain was assigned to complete the refit. Once operational, Glendale will transport the Displaced to Starbase 80.

Mission Description

Despite warnings that the California class USS Glendale was not ready for service following a difficult post-mothball refit, the ship was recommissioned and placed back in service.  During her maiden 25th century mission, system failures forced a total shutdown of the ship, leaving her dead and drifting, requiring a tow to Starbase Bravo.  Management at the Beta Antares Ship Yards was quietly replaced, and the captain of Glendale was relieved after a lack of confidence in his abilities.  Glendale is scheduled to complete her repairs in 10 months.

However, events throughout the fleet have forced a change in timeline.

Due to the growing problem of the Displaced, both in magnitude of the problem and the urgency to restore all universes, emergency repairs are being performed.  Once operational, Glendale will start transporting the Displaced to Starbase 80.
