New Task Force Executive Officer and other news

Greetings from the Diplomatic Frontier. I wanted to take a moment to announce that our former Task Group Commanding Officer, Kitahashi, has been offered and accepted the position of Task Force Executive Officer. This is in no small part thanks to his dedication to the Task Force, as well as the Fleet in general. I am sure that he will continue to make contributions to TF72 well into the future.

Also, while I am here, I wanted to make everyone aware that because of the server glitches we experienced, we will be pushing the competitions being hosted by TF72 to the right a bit. I’m sure that I am not alone in being unable to access various sites during the hiccup (which we thank Emily rather profusely for being so on top of these things and getting us through it in quick fashion) and to compensate for the time lost, we will be working with the OCS staff to give people a few extra days to make up for it. With that in mind, those of you who have already participated, both myself and Kitahashi thank you for giving them a shot. I’m sure when everything is settled with the extension, another announcement will be made. Until then, thank you for taking a moment to read this message, and if I don’t get another chance to do so, I wish everyone in the Fleet a very happy holiday season.
