June 2016 Monthly Awards

July 19, 2016

The Hall of Honours team is proud to congratulate the following players on being awarded the Player of the Month award for June 2016. The Player of the Month (of a Task Force) has shown superior roleplaying ability for the past month. They are nominated by their respective CO upon which the award is issued on behalf of the TFCO by the Hall of Honour, so it is important that you get your nominations in each month. Can we all please congratulate these fine simmers in our community on being named June 2016 Players of the Month?
Task Force 9 Player of the Month: Major Jason Hearnes, USS Triton
For showing incredible dedication to keep the USS Triton an active ship in the Task Force.

Task Force 38 Player of the Month: Lieutenant JG Shartaan Lonewolf, Chief Operations Officer, USS Equinox
Karo is an amazing writer; she takes elements of a First Nation ancestry and builds an amazingly dynamic and interesting character. She is heavily involved in mainstream JPs on the Equinox while actively participates to build her character with solo posts and side JPs. She is highly active and contributes greatly. Her characters even experiment with language and dialects with is a thrill to witness. Her NCPs are always so much fun to interact with!

Task Force 72 Player of the Month: Patrick (aka Commander Lora Kisewe), USS Argonaut
Task Force 72 would like to posthumously nominate Patrick (aka Commander Lora Kisewe) for this award. While something as small as a little ribbon may not bring comfort to Patrick’s family and friends at his sad passing, Bravo Fleet is a family, and we welcomed Patrick back to our fleet after some months away. Having discussions with him when he took on the command himself, he was very enjoying his time on the USS Argonaut and took on the reins of command when it looked very likely that the simulation would shut down mere months after the previous Commanding Officer took command, but Patrick took on the challenge of bringing the USS Argonaut into the success it was hopefully destined for. I know that personally I had had some rough times with Patrick as a player, but when he wrote, he wrote with such detail and description and he was a pleasure to write with. We will never know what Patrick could have done with the USS Argonaut. We are all saddened by his passing, and the thoughts and prayers of all of us are with Patrick’s family and friends during this sad time.

Task Force 93 Player of the Month: Lt Cdr Calvin Hall, Deep Space 14
Based on CO nomination helping keep the storyline moving forward and organized

Task Force 99 Player of the Month: Marine Captain McMicheals, Starbase 400
(In the words of the CO): I’ve been asked by members of SB400 to nomination Travis Cline (Marine Captain McMichaels) for the TF99 Player of the Month; For showing both off, and on game initiative for the previous month with both excellent posting, and off game ideas in an effort to improve the StarBase 400 Marine element. Travis has been great addition to SB400.

The Hall of Honours team is proud to congratulate the following simulations on being awarded the Simulation of the Month award for June 2016. The Simulation of the Month (of a Task Force) is awarded to a simulation for its contribution to the Task Force canon, activity, quality, number of players and others. All simulations in a Task Force are automatically considered for this award however nominations are sought from fellow CO’s. It is awarded by the Hall of Honour on behalf of the TFCO, so it is important that you get your nominations in each month. Can we all please congratulate these fine simulations in our community on being named June 2016 Simulations of the Month. Your awards will shortly be confirmed to you all on the Bravo Fleet Wiki.

Task Force 9 Simulation of the Month: USS Vindex
The Vindex is a newcomer to the Task Force and Fleet but has already shown itself an excellent simulation. Both the CO and the crew have done incredible work to make the sim a success.

Task Force 72 Simulation of the Month: SS Boreas
I am happy to nominate the SS Boreas for the award this month. Since they received the award last time, they have kept on going from strength to strength, and I am always impressed to see what they get up to. The Commanding Officer may not be the most active on the forums, but it seems that he takes all the time we would spend on the forums, to focus just on his simulation. I’m not sure if he has any other characters around the fleet, but if he does, he is one person who can keep going and still find all the time to write amazing stories on the SS Boreas, and it most certainly is a pushover for a civilian simulation. They are consistently posting high numbers each month, and while post count is just one aspect, I also am impressed with the quality of their posts, they are always very descriptive and detailed and a quite look at their website, there are very few solo posts, showing me that the crew love working together and love being part of a team. Well done SS Boreas again!

Task Force 93 Simulation of the Month: USS Venture
For being an active member of Task Force 93 and keeping the storyline going. Also, the majority of the Task Force nominated the USS Venture so well done.

Task Force 99 Simulation of the Month: USS Carpathia, Alternative Division
Over the past month, the USS Carpathia has shown great improvement, has been actively posting moving the story across. They been an interesting read and enjoying how their mission is playing out.

Congratulations to all the winners, and we apologize for getting this out so later then usual.
