Intelligence Report #11: Wildfire

October 4, 2026

PRIORITY ONE SUBSPACE TRANSMISSION
From: Lieutenant Sorel, Starfleet Relay Station Vael-4
To: Starbase Ardana, Fleet Operations
Stardate: 80812.35

Ardana, Vael-4. This is my fourth attempt at communication. These blasted solar flares have been degrading subspace transmissions, so I’ll be brief.

Long-range sensors have been unusable for two days. We have been tracking the system visually. At 0212 we sighted three vessels holding beyond the ice belt, running dark. Slow light pulses between them: two beats and a pause, first. Then more, and more complex. I have checked the pattern against our records on Gorn communication. It matches.

They stopped signalling eleven minutes ago.

Send more than one ship.

Announcing our 2026 stand-alone campaign: Wildfire.

Running for eight weeks, this campaign will bring Bravo Fleet up against an old Starfleet enemy – but also push crews to the limit in their duty to save lives, preserve peace, and resolve a crisis through understanding and perseverence, not sheer force of arms. The Gorn-Federation border has been stable for decades. What could possibly stir it to chaos now?

This will be a stand-alone campaign – unlike the Fleet Actions, which feature competitions and drive to the epic scale of a once-in-a-lifetime, galaxy-defining event. Wildfire gives members a chance to explore a specific challenge and a specific region, the Fourth Fleet bringing its efforts to bear on the Cestus Sector Block, deep in the Beta Quadrant. While there will be extensive canon and storytelling support from the Intelligence Office on the run-up to this campaign, the event will not feature any of the additional features like campaign tables, individual mission briefings, or Areas of Responsibility. It will, however, be an opportunity for more Task Force-specific stories and adventures within the broader campaign.

Keep your eyes peeled in the upcoming weeks for more content, teases, and information – and, of course, the major briefing in a couple of weeks.

Wildfire goes live Saturday October 24th and ends Sunday December 20th.
