This is a quick update to express gratitude and renewal to the staff of Bravo Fleet Academy.
Captain Varen Wyll has made the difficult decision to step down after more than a year and a half of dedication to the academy. We’ll all miss Varen’s deep well of knowledge and personal commitment to creating safe and meaningful learning experiences for our cadets. Fortunately, Bravo Fleet continues to benefit from Varen’s ongoing leadership as Deputy Operations Officer and Task Force 47 Commanding Officer.
For all of Varen’s achievements in the past months of academy tenure, I’m thrilled to award them with the Silver Palm!
Meanwhile, Captain Zachary Murphy has returned as an Academy Staff Assistant, bringing a wealth of experience as an academy staff member, Task Force 47 & 93 Executive Officer and Task Force 86 Commanding Officer! Not only will we benefit from Zachary’s expertise when it comes to characters, commands and writing, but that task force leadership will be valuable to our cadets taking the new Task Unit Leadership Program.
Please join me in thanking them both for their leadership, expertise and compassion!
Bravo Fleet
