[WATB Phase 3]: Resistance is Not Futile

The campaign against the Borg has been long and hard. For many, hope may have seemed lost long ago. But this is the time the tide turns, and the Federation prevails.
This is a writing competition, with the theme of ‘Resistance is Not Futile.’ This can mean whatever you want it to mean – is this the point of victory? The aftermath? Is this about a moment where all seems lost, only for a pinprick of light to appear?

While many stories will be part of their long Fleet Action Missions, and it is appropriate to post the climax, ordeal, or aftermath of these narratives, you do not HAVE to. This can be a stand-alone story, especially if you have not been writing a FA Mission for your Command until now. It must, however, be about a BFMS Command and BFMS Characters.

Criteria

• Your Story should be between 1,000 and 3,000 words in length (Google Docs, not BFMS, will be used to determine word count).
• The entry must have been posted in a Mission attached to the We Are the Borg Fleet-Wide Mission and be linked to in the submission. It may be from your Command or a Bravo Fleet Sandbox RPG ONLY. While we allow and encourage you to choose a Story from your ongoing Fleet Action fiction, only the single submitted Story will be graded and judged.
• The Story must have been posted during the competition's duration.
• Submitted Stories must have a single author.
• Entries will be scored using the Bravo Fleet Fiction Rubric.
