As the Fourth Fleet settles into a period of rest, recuperation, and rebuilding, many of our characters are likely to be headed home for shoreleave. As one of the most diverse civilizations in the history of the galaxy, the Federation has many members which come from a wide variety of worlds. Our characters also interact with the Federation’s neighbors frequently.

Where a species comes from influences not just its preferences when it comes to climate and its biology, but also its history and culture. Being able to identify and understand the context other species come from is an important part of Starfleet training.
