Concerned for the wellbeing of the Cupertino’s former Captain Kahi Jurev, Captain Saffiya Nassar orders the crew to follow his shuttle’s warp signature. Before they can reach his location, a subspace aperture opens, dragging the Cupertino into a black void. Not expecting their tumultuous descent, several crew members are fatally injured and the ship is severely damaged.

As they focus on escaping Underspace, the Cupertino is hailed by a damaged Cardassian vessel, commanded by Gul Dan. With their weapons array compromised, the Cupertino is forced into an uneasy alliance with the Cardassians agreeing to send engineers to assist them with necessary repairs.

But the fragile truce doesn’t last. Seizing the opportunity, Gul Dan takes the Cupertino’s Chief Engineer hostage. In response, the Cupertino’s crew deployed a computer virus to the Cardassian system. Before it is purged, it successfully lowers the ship’s shields, allowing for the kidnapped officer to be beamed back. However, it also leaves the Cardassians vulnerable just as a powerful ion storm approaches, shifting the balance in the Cupertino’s favour as the Cardassian vessel sustains further damage.

Despite the betrayal, Captain Nassar is unwilling to leave the Cardassians to their fate. She proposes another alliance, and together with crews work to recalibrate their shield frequencies, and manage to escape Underspace.

Mission Update: Labyrinth

After a brevet promotion sees Lieutenant Commander Samantha Hyland assigned command of the New Orleans – class Frigate, USS Savannah, she soon comes to appreciate that there is more to commanding a starship than sitting in the “Big – Chair.” After an attempt to destroy the Savannah and half of the Outer docks at Starbase 72, an unknown New Marquis saboteur lurks amongst the crew seeking to destroy everyone from within and pursued by the Machiavellian True – Way commander, Gul Yomat Ghallir, Sam is forced to make the hard decision to take refuge in Underspace.

With the ship damaged and adrift within the Labyrinth, Captain Hyland and her crew seek a way to repair her ship and escape before time itself becomes her executioner. Discovering the long lost 23rds Miranda “Refit” vessel USS Subic Bay amongst the wrecks littering the Underspace conduit and learning the fate of her unfortunate crew, a bargain is struck with Gul Yomat Ghallir and together they escape back to the Alpha Quadrant after revealing and defeating the saboteur – which proves to be a reprogramed Special Services Hologram.

But with the True Way Terrorist leader in custody, Captain Hyland faces a Starfleet Board of Inquiry and is exonerated, but these events are only precursor to Gul Ghallir’s plot to destabilize the Depta Council by precipitating a Kazon invasion of Federation Space. With the Cardassian’s sabotaging the entries to Underspace, to retain their primacy over the former DMZ, Captain Hyland & her crew foil the plot and an uneasy truce is restored with the fall of the Labyrinth.

https://wiki.bravofleet.com/index.php?title=USS_Helios#Echoes_in_the_Weeds

- Written at time of the FA, updated for clarity---

Late in the year 2401, Helios was assigned to act as a research support platform for a new long-range sensor suite designed to improve surveillance in the Badlands. While testing the new platform, the vessel was caught unaware by the opening of a subspace aperture related to the galaxy-wide Underspace emergence. Transported several thousand lightyears through the Underspace corridors, Helios was damaged and stranded in a remote system where the high level of electromagnetic and stellar radiation made attaining warp speeds impossible.

Whilst undertaking repair works in the system and investigating possible avenues for their return to Federation space, Helios encountered a remote Kazon colony, seemingly separated from the other members Kazon Collective over 50 years prior. These Kazon appeared to have settled on the planet and were operating a satisfactory subsistence lifestyle. When it became apparent that the access portal to the Underspace was collapsing due to the activities of the Cardassian Union in the Alpha quadrant, Helios was forced to take the risk and attempt to return to Underspace unprepared. The Kazon revealed they were not as peaceful as believed and launched an attack on Helios to secure its advanced technology, having been unable to open the portal themselves with their limited assets. A standoff followed as Helios faced a trio of Kazon vessels at the mouth of the collapsing Underspace portal.

Helios was able to return to the Alpha quadrant but incurred several losses, including Heliades flight leader Helena 'Pheobe' Tyll, who sacrificed herself to transmit vital data to the ship whilst captured aboard the Kazon lead vessel. The ship returned to Deep Space 47 for repairs and post-action debriefing before attending the Commander’s funeral on Trill.

Wiki Entry: USS Luna: https://wiki.bravofleet.com/index.php?title=USS_Luna#History

The Triangle to the Universe: The USS Luna is sent to investigate spacial anomalies in the Triangle. This draws interest from both the Klingons and Romulans, and the three powers form an uneasy alliance while studying the rupture in space. While onboard the Romulan ship, attempting to be diplomatic, Captain Adriana Cruz and the Romulan warbird is accidentally sucked into the fissure. The Luna and Klingons follow it to find that the warbird has crashed somewhere on an icy planet. While the crew of the Luna regroups, and begins to search for their captain, the Klingons prepare to deal a crippling blow to the Starfleet vessel in order to keep this discovery to themselves, and finish off both the already crashed Romulans and the Luna in one blow. Eventually Captain Cruz is recovered along with a number of Romulan survivors, the Luna is able to escape destruction by the Klingons and return through the fissure to The Triangle.

https://wiki.bravofleet.com/index.php?title=USS_Hypatia

* '''[https://bravofleet.com/mission/121349 Rift in the Stars]:''' Deep in the [[Vadlox Nebula]] and grappling with dangerous gravimetric distortions and tachyon emissions, ''Hypatia'' is caught unawares when a second subspace aperture unexpectedly pulls the ship in. When they later emerge from the tunnel, she appears to be stranded in an unknown location, with the crew unable to ascertain their status due to damaged long-range systems. But as they are conducting repairs, they encounter a rogue planet with a powerful gravitational pull and a hostile Gorn warship. The situation becomes dire when the Gorn ship is caught in the planet’s deadly grip. In a race against time, the crew implement an audacious plan to use several shuttles to pull the Gorn to safety. Thanks is in short supply, however, when the Gorn are safe, they threaten to attack ''Hypatia''. Timely repairs reveal the ship to be in the Ultima Thule system and a lot closer to Starfleet reinforcements than the Gorn are. Captain Kauhn offers his adversary a truce, during which time he ensures the Gorn are safely escorted out of Federation territory.
