Final Exam: Astronomy

Description

Cadet Ka’hi Selik sat at his desk in the Academy dormitory, a holographic projection of the Milky Way spinning slowly in the air above his desk.  He sighed, running a hand through his hair as he scrolled through the exam material for Stellar Cartography 101.

“Alright,” he muttered to himself, “focus. Start with the basics… It’s not that hard.”

The words felt like a mantra, one he hoped would stick long enough to get through “I’ve got this.”

His PADD chirped, snapping him out of his reverie. A reminder flashed: Astronomy Exam: 0900 hours tomorrow. Don’t forget practical application sections.

“Right, practical applications,” he grumbled, flipping to a star chart exercise. “Charting safe warp routes around unstable stars – no pressure.”
