USS Eclipse (NCC-96886)

The Eclipse is designed to guide the new generation to become the pioneers they are meant to be.

Protostar-class • NCC-96886 • Hecate Station Squadron • Task Force 17

Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

The USS Eclipse (NCC-96886) is a Protostar-class corvette that serves as the field training vessel for Pilgrim Flight. The USS Eclipse is part of the Hecate Squadron. It provides real operational experience. Designed for exploration and rapid-response missions, the Eclipse is the perfect platform for the next generation of Starfleet to prove themselves.

While it may be small and relatively light on tactical capabilities, the Eclipse is a vital asset to Hecate Squadron, enabling cadets to train in an active frontier environment. Support missions in the Grim Wall include conducting independent low-risk reconnaissance and potential emergency operations. Although this ship is officially a training vessel, in practice, it is a tool for real missions.

Hecate Station Squadron

Betreka Operational Element is the logistics and support unit tasked with providing operational, diplomatic and engineering services to the Betreka Sector. The headquarters for sector operations is Hecate Station, a Copernicus-class station near the exit of the Pilgrim Road at the Grim Wall. The station is supported by USS Ukiah that provides logistic support, USS Himalaya tasked with engineering services and USS Kusanagi tasked with border patrol in the Betreka Sector. The latest addition is the USS Eclipse, the squadron training vessel aimed to the Pilgrim Program where new officers gain experience from the frontline.
