Bravo Fleet
Summary
Francis “Bubble” is a Beluga whale who showed above levels of intelligence during a routine survey of Cetaceans in Earth’s oceans. He was invited to attend Starfleet’s prestigious Cetacean Academy located near San Francisco.
He is assigned to Cetacean ops on the USS Columbia where he helps with navigation and engineering.
Appearance
Francis is just over 5 m (14.9ft) long and weighs in at 1,350 kg (2,976 lb). He is white in colouration with his one defining feature, a scar, over his right eye that runs for almaot 50cms, across his eye and down along his side. When asked how he got it he swears up and down it is from a knife fight he go into with a Nausicaan who went for a swim on Earth and tried to steal his fish.
Personality
Francis has a playful and sarcastic personality. He is fascinated by pirate films and learned most of his vocabulary from them so often the translation comes across rather ‘piratey’. He very much feels that whales and dolphins would have been excellent pirates.
He has a slight rivalry with two of the bottlenose dolphins who he refers to as the chuckle brothers (Steve and Matt) following an incident where they nicknamed him Bubble. A name he dislikes.
As with many cetaceans, he is very playful and will look for any excuse to invite crew members for a swim.
