Maggie Thatcher

Maggie is generally the ship mom on any ship she’s stationed on. She’s sweet and kind and has a good demeanor all around. The crews that she’s served with absolutely love her and would do anything that she needed to help her out. There’s only a short list of folks who’ve had the opportunity to see her go into combat mode. Maggie served in the Dominion War as a field medic in the heart of battle. She knows what risk is and what danger is. Unbeknownst to most of her recent crews, she’s got a substantial kill list to her name, a fact that haunts her every day.

She tried to make herself as available as she can to everyone on and off duty, but from time to time, she’s been known to activate the do not disturb features on her quarters and deal with errant emotions that threaten to pervade her thoughts.

She is generally dressed in Starfleet standard with a doctor’s smock. Off duty she can be found in jeans and sweaters generally. Damn starships are always too cold.

Maggie is about as good natured as you can get with people. She’s not sure if that’s penance for what she had to do during the Dominion war, or just who she is anymore. She has dark moments where her past overwhelms her, but in general Maggie is sweet and approachable and loves her crews. She’s just as quick to help with a hypospray as she is with advice, and both are usually very well administered. She is a mother bear, and will protect her cubs at any expense, no matter what.
