The Terrellian Crisis
In 2401, upon completion of her training cruise, Joci was promoted to the rank of ensign and assigned to her dream posting: the Parliament-class USS Auckland. The chance to be on the front lines of some exciting projects and more specialised duties was not something easily passed up. However in early 2401, command of the Auckland was transferred to a new Captain bringing with it a change in mission directive. Dispatched to the Proteus system under priority order to help quell an outbreak of Terrellian Plague amongst a mining colony formerly under the administration of the now dissolved Romulan Star Empire.
