Arjun Patel was born in 2364 in Ahmedabad, India, Earth to Devendra and Jyoti Patel. Growing up in a family of scientists, Arjun developed a keen interest in science and engineering from a young age. In 2370, he enrolled in the Starfleet Preparatory Academy, where he developed a strong foundation in the sciences and a deep appreciation for the values of the United Federation of Planets.
Upon entering Starfleet Academy in 2372, Arjun specialized in starship engineering and warp field theory. His dedication and aptitude for engineering earned him a place in the prestigious Starfleet Advanced Engineering Training Program upon graduation in 2376.
