Zihan Shepherd

Zihan Shepherd is the executive officer of Gateway Station. A promising talent since the start of her career, she attended the Academy at the age of only 17, was Chief Flight Control Officer of the USS Triumph within only a year of graduation, and made first officer of the starship Endeavour at age 30. In that time, she proved herself to be a well-rounded officer, capable at leadership, conflict resolution, and diplomacy, rather than merely a pilot. She was highly decorated for her role in the Battle of Izar during the Dominion Lost Fleet’s invasion of the Deneb Sector, and was soon after assigned to Gateway Station. Although a move from starships to space stations is an unorthodox move for an adventurous officer like Shepherd, the assignment comes with command of the starbase’s assigned ship, the USS Tempest, and acts as the face of Gateway in missions spanning the Midgard Sector.
