Starfleet Career

He spends most of his early life on Bajor, where he learned to respect his people’s traditions and continue it wherever his journey will bring him. Finally, he resumes his career at Starfleet Academy, where his focus is on Security through Social Science. He met up with Sazra after the academy that her vessel was looking for a skilled Security Officer and felt he was up for some on-route experience.

The strength of Rami was well-used on rebuilding the USS Jaxartes, as it was made space worthy at Deep Space 17. Though, he did get various warnings and restrictions for his behavior at the docks that his Captain had to clear up for him. He was later involved in the choices that got the Hu’rastish saved and followed up on the first contact with the people of Valley of the Heart. This brought him to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.

In 2399, however, his skills and ethical motives would be tested as the Jaxartes had to follow the orders of the USS Liberty. It was thanks to Rami hard work that the crew to gain information on what had happened to the pre-warp planet and the crimes that the USS Liberty had committed. He supported the follow-up actions of Captain Praugol to confront Captain Vance about his crimes. Rami was asked to testify against Captain Vance and did so.

In 2400 the USS Jaxartes got involved in an escort mission of an RFS science vessel. Rami was able to defend the USS Jaxartes in a firefight against the IRF ship that kidnapped his Captain. Rami, later on, got involved with the rescue of Captain Praugol. He was primarily responsible during this operation for defending the away team infiltrating the Broken Wing facility.

In 2400, he was reassigned to the USS Damascus as the Chief Security Officer. In the Blood Dilithium Operations, Rami showed a more radical change in his behavior, a more aggressive stance towards the enemy, and was called upon for his behavior a few times but the other senior staff. He was almost relieved of his duties after the bad comment on Ensign K’Nala. This resulted in a formal warning from Captain Kobahl after he was allowed to transfer to USS Mariner with the function of Chief Security/Tactical Officer. Thought in 2401, he will be tested even more as the Mariner is required to go to Gamma Quadrant to request from the ones he rather avoid, the Dominion.

After more than one pleads to avoid Gamma Quadrant or any interaction with the Dominion was not heard. Rami started to get people together to start a resistant group against the failed commands of their Captain. When the Mariner was en route to Alpha Quadrant, he started his mutiny and successfully took over the bridge. However, this victory was short-lived as he was arrested very quickly. After the Lost Fleet arc, he has transferred to Starbase 86 custody and stripped of his rank and position.
