Song Ji-Hun

Lieutenant Song is the Assistant Chief of Security and Tactical aboard the USS Endeavour. Born to affluence and comfort on Earth, Song studied military history and became a civilian consultant and researcher to the Federation Council, providing defence policy advice based on his strategic and tactical analysis of contemporary threats and current events. He came to Starfleet later in life, dissatisfied with politics, and it was here that he met his wife Kyauta Danjuma. In the late 2390s, his wife’s parents passed and they became the guardians of her younger brother Lawal. As a rising star in Starfleet Tactical Song, he was expected to be a department head by now but requested an assignment to Endeavour, a ship where his wife could advance her career and they could keep Lawal with them. Lieutenant Song is a skilled tactician and thoughtful analyst, capable in the field but particularly shining when he has the chance to assess a situation and lay a plan.
