ABSTRACT

Lieutenant Commander Sandra Michelle Hackett, Medical Corps, Starfleet, was born 1 November 2349 at the Saint Louis Children’s Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri on Earth to Doctor Paul Hackett, M.D., Ph.D., and Mrs. Hackett.

A daddy’s girl at heart, she cultivated a passion for the medical sciences. Her eidetic memory, sharp intellect, aptitude for research, and profoundly steady hands led her to a Chancellor’s Scholarship at John’s Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, in August 2366. She completed Pre-Med requirements and earned Bachelors of Science degrees in Xenobiology and Psychology in November 2372. She easily won a seat at Harvard Medical School, Class of 2379, where she rose to the top of her class and received her diploma and M.S. in Xenobiology in the Spring of 2379.

She spent the next few years at various hospitals on Earth and elsewhere while earning her chops as a surgeon and completing her Ph.D. in Xenobiology. In the aftermath of the Synth Attack on Mars and Hobus Supernova in 2387, Hackett grew restless with her career track and contemplated a commission in Starfleet as a medical officer. On 1 May 2392, she earned a direct commission as a Starfleet Medical Corps Officer with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Shortly afterward, she received her first assignment as Senior Medical Officer aboard the USS Galaxy (NCC-70637).

  Personality/ Professional Quirks

1. Lieutenant Commander Hackett is an inveterate people watcher- she misses little that goes on around her and has deeply-rooted faculties in deciphering the motivations and intentions of those around her. She is a very private and reserved individual in performing her duties.

2. She has an oval face with a rounded jaw, a large nose, and proportionate lips. Her piercing dark blue eyes are puffy, and she has well-groomed eyebrows.
3. She has excellent arms, chiseled hands, a medium torso, an average waist, straight hips, muscular legs, and wide feet.
