Character Description

As a Caitian R’Tor exhibits his ancestral feline features, with sharp ears, whiskers along with white fur with black stripes which covers his body. His broad shoulders, tall stature, and piercing eyes gives him a fierce and commanding presence.

As a dreamer and explorer R’Tor’s decision to join Starfleet came as no surprise to his friends and family. As a cadet he towered above his human counterparts. While his face holds a stoic and calm look, his ears and tale move and twitch depending on his mood.

EARLY LIFE

Year of birth: 2362

Born and raised on Narval, in the wild lands of Kasherren foothills, R’Tor is the second son of T’gori’an and Ma’aren. They were loving and protective parents, but preferred living on the edge of civilized society.

As a cub R’Tor would spend days learning to survive in the wild lands and forested areas. At night, he would sneak away from home where he would climb atop a small outcropping of rocks. In this location he would spend ours staring at the stars. He would ream of adventures, as well as heroes of old.

His mother taught him to embrace learning and his father taught him the nature of the hunt and importance of patience for justice, even in times of great turbulence.

STARFLEET ACADEMY

Accepted into Starfleet Academy in 2379

As a cadet, R’Tor was a light hearted, but emotional student. When frustrated he would give a sudden roar. This would catch the attention of everyone throughout the dormitory. His bellows of laughter would resonate throughout the halls.

R’Tor took on the Bridge Officer Track. He had minor difficulty during pilot training, but with help from a friend, passed with flying colors and earned a Degree in Criminal Justice.

Graduated Starfleet Academy in 2383

First Assignment USS Saturn
 Security Officer & Shuttle Pilot

Received many commendations and recognition from commanding officers. Participated in away missions, where both his physical strength and diplomatic mind were put to good use. Continue to take classes in Federation Law. Studied Interstellar Relations. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior grade and chose to follow a law career.

Not content with security duties, in 2387 he was accepted into Starfleet’s Legal Academy. Four years later he would graduate with a legal degree.

Many assignments and duties brought him into contact with diplomats and command officers. He reviewed treaty proposals and wrote a thesis that reviewed how the Federation should approach negotiations with Romulans. ‘The Faces of Romulus

JAG OFFICER – Starbase Bravo  (2391 – Present)

As an officer with the Judge Advocate General, R’Tor served to resolve legal matters and acted as legal counsel for those requiring it.  He had mixed success. He volunteered to help his friend, Edward Clark during a court martial hearing. Despite his best efforts, Clark was demoted, but he continues to remain in service.
