Seth Galbraith was born on the outskirts of Toronto in early 2364.

USS Reliant (2393-2399)
Following the completion of the Venture‘s five-year mission, Galbraith was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was assigned to the class leader of the relatively new Reliant-class light cruisers. Unlike the Venture, the Reliant was assigned to missions within Federation space, which was certainly a slower-paced environment compared to the explorer he had been posted on before, but for a cultural specialist and diplomat, he found that dealing with the myriad needs of the Federation’s member worlds to be just as interesting as exploring the frontier.
USS Medusa (2399-Present)
In 2399, Galbraith was transferred to the USS Medusa, given his experience as a diplomat.
