Summary
Petra Vantongeren is the Executive Officer of the USS Santa Fe, and a proud career Starfleet Officer. She has built her reputation on being the person a captain could hand any task to, and trust that it would come back done correctly, on time, and fully documented.
Personality
Petra is by-the-book to a fault on the surface. She’ll cite regulation number and subsection without blinking, and junior officers learn fast that she does not understand “I think” as a substitute for “I will confirm.”
Underneath this is a quiet pragmatist: when the moment actually calls for it, she’ll bend or break a rule without hesitation, and do the messy paperwork after, rather than before. Petra isn’t cold, but she is guarded. Competence is how she demonstrates her belonging, and she’s slow to let anyone see the effort underneath the polish.
