Summary
Katlyn Laarson is the Chief Security Officer aboard the USS Kirk. She has extensive training in hand-to-hand combat, martial arts, and is an expert marksman.
Appearance
Kat possesses an athletic, lean, sleekly-muscled build, earned from a lifetime of dedicated training and rigorous physical activity. She’s much more than just a pretty face.
She has long, light blonde hair and pale blue eyes.
Katlyn is the oldest of the ‘Trio of Terror.’ She and her two siblings, Aedyn and Faelyn, are triplets. Unlike her siblings, she did not inherit the same statuesque height as they did from their Llanarian father. Though she is taller than average for a Human woman, she’s quite short for a Llanarian, standing at 5’10” tall. Both Aedyn and Faelyn are significantly taller than Kat, and enjoy reminding her of that fact an unhealthy amount of times.
Personality
Katlyn is the oldest of the Laarson triplets. Highly intelligent, she’s calm under pressure, and able to take charge of any situation. Not one to limit herself, she has no problems thinking outside of the proverbial box to find solutions when more traditional approaches fall short.
Though she is often underestimated because of her looks, mistaken for being delicate and non-threatening, she has used that to her advantage whenever a situation called for it. She’s no shrinking violet, and isn’t someone willing to put up with nonsense. Quite often, she’s been known to carry more weaponry than a small armory.
History
Spent her early life as an avid outdoor enthusiast, exploring the wilderness in Montana. Prior to joining Starfleet, Katlyn worked as a backcountry guide and in Search and Rescue. She was also a certified Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician.
