Doctor Sadek is a celebrated physician and surgeon with a specialist in disaster trauma. She had seemingly withdrawn from front-line service for the past 6 years, serving as CMO on starbases and conducting medical research, until her return to the field with her assignment to the USS Endeavour. This is undoubtedly only as a favour to her long-term friend, Commander Rourke, but Doctor Sadek has still brought to the ship her long career's worth of experience, calm demeanour, and acerbic wit.
