Sub Commander Rakal i-Valdore doesn’t quite fit the mould someone expects of a Romulan commanding officer, at least not at first glance. He’s younger than many in his position, and there is an openness to him that can be disarming, particularly for those who are accustomed to the guarded nature of his people. He listens actively and attentively and when he speaks, it is not to assert dominance but to bring clarity. This alone sets him apart.
