Summary
Major Loren t’Rehu is a female Republic officer currently serving as the chief engineer of the D’taret. Barely out of the academy when news of the impending supernova came. Loren is the daughter of former Imperial bureaucrats; growing up, she lived a life of privilege until the Hobus supernova stripped her of it. Barely out of the Imperial Academy when the Star Empire fell, she joined the fleeing fifth fleet and was part of the rapidly forming state.
