The Navigator

The Humpback whale known only as “The Navigator” is assigned to the Cetacean – Operations Centre aboard the USS Vega.

Ostensibly the leader of the Cetacean Guidance and Navigation Team, this gnomic and mysterious Cetacean is an immensely powerful Psion and his skill as an Astrometric Savant means that he can Navigate the vastness of interstellar space with a degree of accuracy that rivals even that of the ship’s computer.

Inhabiting the vast tank that houses his ocean biome aboard the Lamarr – class vessel, “The Navigator” most often speaks through his emissary, the Dolphin “Translator R-Krittk”, who is as garrulous as the great leviathan is obtuse.

“The Navigator” deigns to occasionally communicate directly with the other Telepathic beings aboard ship.

“The Navigator” seems to speak in riddles, his meaning can only be parsed after some reflection, but what he prophesizes almost always proves accurately true.

He enjoys the company of other and often permits humanoids to visit him in his tank.
