Summary
In a firefight those with the cooler head often prevails and heads don’t come much cooler than that of the USS Vega‘s Chief Tactical Officer, Lieutenant Ran Th’ekialnes.
This dispassionate Andorian is level headed and hard to shake. Possessing great reserves of inner confidence, Ran can also come across as distant and aloof.
Appearance
Ran Th’ekialnes is an Andorian Male in his 30th year. Standing 5 ft 8ins, whilst he is not especially tall, Ran certainly gives the impression of one who is not going to be moved easily. His cobalt blue skin and ice – blue eyes convey a certain contemptuously and his motile antenna are usually a better indicator to his inner mood.
Personality
Ran Th’ekialnes can seem imperious and cold to those who have not earned his respect.
Whilst not unpleasant to anybody aboard, Ran prefers his own company during off duty hours and rarely congregates in social areas.
Unbeknown to fellow crewmembers, Ran Th’ekialnes is actually quite a talented painter, working in oils and watercolors.
