Doctor Amanda Harrington is the Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Vega.
A Texan native with a no – BS attitude, Doc Harrington is an accomplished clinical manager and surgeon.
With a rough and ready ‘rawhide’ bedside manner, Harrington is worldly and wry.
Appearance
40 years old with auburn hair that is always gathered into a neat bun, Doc Harrington is neat and fastidious is behooves a clinical practitioner. She has intelligent grey eyes and stands 5ft 10ins tall – a life growing up on a ranch has left her with the weathered charm of an outdoorswoman.
Personality
Doc Harrington is a non – nonsense individual and is not afraid to swing a roundhouse and set your nose afterwards. She takes her hypocritic oath seriously and has the mettle to make hard decisions.
In her off-duty time, she is a hell of a card player and is partial to rye whiskey and a steak.
The one thing she misses serving aboard a starship is wide open spaces and a good horse, so can often be found communing with both on the holodeck.
