Revak Dosthiran

Relar Prime is an ancient colony world where the Romulan – you might call them Vulcan at the time – settlers interbred with the native humanoid species. The result was a Romulan subspecies, quickly subsumed into the Empire as the Star Empire grew in power. Relarians are similar in appearance to Romulans, but bear definitive second class status.

Revak was the lucky – or unlucky – offspring of a dalliance between a high ranking Star Empire military officer and a beautiful Relarian clerical worker and escort. To avoid a public incident Revak was raised on Relar Prime and enrolled in the Romulan Military academy at a young age.

He excelled in piloting skills, without the fetters of an interfering family. Therefore once he got out into the field he had the skills he needed to succeed and ended up being far more successful than some of his peers who were merely propped up by status and family.

While Revak initially rose quickly in rank, his excellent performance caused resentment and jealousy among his purebred companions and at the height of his career Revak was framed for crimes he didn’t commit. The only mistake his superiors made was not executing him immediately. Revak escaped and went on the run.

Shortly afterwards the Hobus Star explosion threw the Romulan Empire into disarray and Revak found the opportunity to stop constantly hiding and start taking jobs that benefitted him. Somewhere along the way he met with Darin Jaroo, and the two formed a positive relationship.

Now, many years later Revak Dosthiran serves as Darin Jaroo’s CAG officer for this small but spicy independent fleet.
