Summary
Raised on a colony world in the former DMZ, the USS Astute’s Chief Tactical Officer, Alannah Boseman , knows what it is to be displaced and also knows the value of standing your ground against a bully.
Despite her family’s longstanding support of the Marquis cause, Alannah joined Starfleet due to a deeply – held conviction that the only way to stop the cycle of recrimination and retaliation was to change the conversation. Used to being the underdog, her passage through Starfleet Academy was a rocky one – more than once she was forced to defend herself and her viewpoint from those who had suffered at the hands of the Marquis (and by extension the New Marquis) – but this only strengthened Alannah’s resolve as a woman of integrity and honor.
A straight shooter – in more ways than one.
Appearance
Of Afro – Caribbean descent, Alannah stands 5ft 9ins tall with a lithe figure, coffee – colored skin and dark hair arranged in dreadlocks that are usually tied neatly up when she is on duty.
Personality
Alannah is serious – minded and patient – both excellent qualities for a Tactical Officer and she is hard to rattle even when under duress.
Off duty she is easy – going and easy to like, enjoying social interaction with others.
