Natalie Søgaard

Natalie Søgaard’s serves aboard the USS Astute as the vessels Chief of Security.

Growing up aboard a civilian starship, Natalie’s upbringing was broad and varied as her trader – family plied the space lanes aboard thier vessel, the SS Ertholmene – named after the small Danish Archipelago on Earth where the Søgaard’s originally hailed from.

The sole survivor of a pirate raid, Natalie was raised in a Federation orphanage and joined Starfleet when she came of age – intent on becoming a Starfleet Security Officer and dedicating herself to protecting the innocent from the perdition of the lawless.

A hard woman with an uncompromising view of justice, Natalie lives in a black and white world of absolutes when it comes to right and wrong – there is no grey areas.

As a Security Officer Natalie is stern and uncompromising – utterly dedicated to the rule of law and Starfleet regulations to the point of inflexibility.

Socially she prefers her own company, but her love of outdoor pursuit and marksmanship has seen her form a mutual friendship with the Astute’s Chief Flight Control Officer, the Caitian – Aslaine. Both seriously minded, between the pair of them they nearly have half a sense of humor.
