Vorik

Exacting and meticulous, Dr Vorik is the highly capable Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Astute.

The Vulcan physician has garnered extensive experience in Emergency Medicine through multiple deployments on Humanitarian aid and Disaster relief and is well versed in Public Health through Second and Third contact missions – fostering a deep interest in pathology and xeno – biology from interacting with new species.

Dr Vorik’s dry – logic and acerbic bedside manner almost reach the qualifying threshold for humor.

In many ways, Vorik’s lack of emotion makes him an effective Disaster Medic, able to distance himself from the immense psychological aspects of mass – casualty and large – scale medical emergencies and effectively prioritize and triage patients and decided upon the most effective course of action and treatment.

Vorik has an extremely dry worldview and his observations border on razor – sharp sarcasm, as the Doctor finds himself often confounded by the more illogical reactions of human nature.

Vorik does not mind social interaction, but tends to keep his own council.
