Summary
Despite her relative youth, Dr Sirin Firat is a competent and capable physician with a medical specialization in trauma – medicine, making her a good fit for service aboard a Heavy Escort, where engagement in combat and conflict is more of a certainty than a possibility.
Dr Firat seems implacable and somehow wise – beyond her years, projecting a calming influence and bedside manner.
Appearance
Dr Firat is a young woman of Turkish descent, relatively lithe and athletic, her off duty passion is climbing and her body is lean, but well defined.
With captivating, warm dark brown eyes, light – copper skin-tone and a severe ‘flapper’ – cut bob of dark hair, Sirin is both captivating and unobtainable.
Personality
Siran is a confident and capable physician and has already been exposed to the types of wounds and psychological illnesses encountered when people go into combat. To this end she is unshakable and is a very organized clinical director.
Socially, the Doctor is convivial and approachable. She has a love of the outdoors and enjoys the sport of climbing and indulges in this pastime whenever she is able to, on shore leave or practicing in the Holodecks.
She is currently partnered with Lt Vanna Pascucci, the USS Athena’s Operations Chief and decidedly the more calmer rock within the sometimes turbulent waters of thier relationship.
History
Graduating Starfleet Academy as an Ensign and gaining her medical certification, Dr Sirin Firat completed her residency aboard the USS Hope, an Olympic- class Medical Cruiser assigned to duty with the Fourth Fleet’s Task Force 72.
Emerging as a more experienced and well rounded physician, Dr Firat went on to serve as the Assistant Chief Medical Officer aboard the Manticore – class Heavy Escort, USS Siren and went on to experience extensive combat operations prosecuted against the forces of both the True Way and the opposing New Marquis gaining considerable acumen in emergency and trauma medicine.
In 2401 AD, Dr Firat was transferred to service aboard the Prometheus – class, USS Athena- to serve as her Chief Medical Officer.
