Liranna West-Vrenn

History

Early History | 2379 – 2396

Liranna West-Vrenn was born on the 19th of June, 2379 in San Francisco on the North American continent of Earth. Her mother was a member of the Risa diplomatic missions to Earth and her father a member of Federation Security. Growing up, Vrenn rarely spent time on ships or stations, often spending the majority of her time on Earth. However, due to her mother and father’s positions they would on occasion have to travel to Earth Spacedock or hitch a ride aboard a Starfleet ship when her mother needed to return to Risa. At six years old, Vrenn would see on a news broadcast the devastation caused by the Attack on Mars. This break from the calm peaceful life she had since birth had shattered when the games within the planet ignited. Seeing the devastation it caused, she would dedicate herself to joining Starfleet to ensure nothing like that ever happens again.

Starfleet Service | 2396 – Present

Starfleet Academy | 2396 – 2400

On her first attempt, West-Vrenn was accepted into Starfleet Academy, beginning roughly a month after she turned nineteen. In the beginning she didn’t know who or what she was going to be all she knew was that she needed to be on the fast track to the admiralty. She decided that the security department would be the best choice for her and would began studying. In 2387, she would meet Anton Drakovich another cadet a year ahead of her. In 2400, West-Vrenn would graduated as salutatorian of his class.

Deep Space 91 | 2400 – 2402

After completing Starfleet Academy, West-Vrenn earned a commission to ensign and would be assigned to the Unity-class station Deep Space 91. During her time here she spent a lot of time with Arthur Howard, a fellow security officer assigned aboard the station. In such a short period of time West-Vrenn and Howard become best friends. Where the other often had to save their back. After spending two years on DS-91 she would be transferred at the start of the new year.

USS Paramount (NCC-75570) | 2402 – Present

Upon the ship’s return from its mission above Telvin IV, West-Vrenn would be transferred to the California-class utility cruiser, USS Paramount (NCC-75570).

Anton Drakovich

Ensign Anton Drakovich is a Human male Starfleet line officer and currently a security officer stationed aboard USS Bridgerton. West-Vrenn and Drakovich met in 2387 during their sophomore and junior year respectively, growing close over the next two years. The pair often trained together and were often subject ro rumors of dating although both feverishly denied such rumors. West-Vrenn and Drakovich seen each other as siblings and would become attached to one another. Despite graduating a year before her, Drakovich and West-Vrenn remain jn close communication with one another. Often speaking two or three times a week where they would chat and talk about what’s happened in their lives. Drakovich had a girlfriend but when it was revealed that she had reservations about his friendship with West-Vrenn, he broke the relationship. When she asked him why he replied that if she couldn’t respect his friendship and trust that he wouldn’t cheat. They couldn’t be together.

Lyric Joran

Ensign Lyric Joran is a Risian female Starfleet line officer and currently a deck officer stationed aboard the USS Paramount. West-Vrenn and Joran met when the former first came aboard the ship to report for duty. They quickly bonded over their shared heritage, with Joran telling West-Vrenn how life growing up on her homeworld is.

Kepa Norza

Ensign Kepa Norza is a Bajoran male Starfleet line officer and is currently a security officer on the USS Paramount. Kepa and West-Vrenn were the first people she met when she arrived on the ship alongside Commander K’Tal. He was the first person to introduce themselves to her and they would often be partnered during away missions.

Daniel Linton

Ensign Daniel Linton is a Human male Starfleet line officer and currently a nurse stationed aboard the USS Paramount. Linton and West-Vrenn met through Joran and Kepa; they introduced them to one another before he was called away by Commander Blix. So they aren’t as close as the others are.

T’Vaya

Ensign T’Vaya is a Vulcan female Starfleet line officer and currently a science officer stationed aboard the USS Paramount. T’Vaya and West-Vrenn met through Joran and Kepa similar to Linton they introduced them to one another before she was called away by Lieutenant Jackson. So they aren’t as close as the others are.
