Sorralik Talar is a very focused and determined (sometimes too goofy and careless) Lieutenant aboard the Pioneer, a good tactician and strategist he was, also a skilled negotiator, he maybe sometimes have a bit of a black humor inside him, but overall, he is a competent and trustworthy kind of a fellow.
Appearance
Sorralik is a Haliian with the height at 6’1 and quite leaning and a athletic build, has sharp light brown eyes with straight hair, and smooth golden tan skin, he always wear his Starfleet uniform, even at home, due to his obsession with Starfleet.
Personality
Sorralik has a personality that can be a little too intense and unpredictable, as he can be sometimes goofy and careless but sometimes gets too tensed and stressed at some point, and he also can be a little pragmatic, which can be reflected in his interest war holonovels, and above all that, he is friendly and kinda sociable.
History
Sorralik joined the Starfleet Academy in 2389, where he quickly stood out as a gifted student with a strong strategic aptitude. He excelled in classes such as tactical theory, diplomacy, and history, often finishing at the top of his class. He joined the other clubs such as Strategy Club or other similar things for to get more action-related exercises….or holo-scenarios.
As a student at the Starfleet Academy, Sorralik Talar distinguished himself not only in his classes but also through his additional studies and certifications. Due to his parents forcing him to take more courses, he graduated in 2395, a year later than the typical time it takes for a cadet to become an officer. Although adding an extra year to his time at the academy was unconventional, it proved to be beneficial for Talar, although he was tired at the time of the graduation.
U.S.S Liberty (2395-2398)
During his service aboard the USS Liberty (2395-2398), Sorralik Talar was a part of a peace treaty between two warring factions in a distant planet in the Alpha Quadrant in 2397, that proved to be fatal as one of the warring factions’ terrorist blows up the whole building which the treaty took place, Talar barely survived and was beamed back to the Liberty, with a large chunk of metal stuck in his left leg, of course.
During his time on the USS Liberty, Sorralik faced even more harrowing experiences. In addition to the negotiations and the shuttle accident, he was involved in the evacuation of a colony that was threatened by a natural disaster. The operation involved transporting hundreds of people to a nearby Federation vessel, but the evacuation was complicated by the presence of hostile forces in the area. Sorralik was responsible for overseeing the security of the evacuation, and he worked closely with the ship’s senior officers to ensure the safety of the civilians. These experiences left him with a deep sense of responsibility and a commitment to protecting others at all costs.
U.S.S Sentinel (2395-2398)
In 2398, Talar’s path led him to the USS Sentinel, where he served as a Tactical and Security Officer. The ship was undergoing a major refit, preparing for a long-term exploratory voyage into uncharted space. Talar was tasked with leading a team of engineers in the process of modifying the ship’s weaponry and defenses, allowing it to withstand any possible threats that might arise during their mission.
In 2400, the USS Sentinel was deployed to a planet that was in the midst of a violent civil war. The ship’s mission was to evacuate civilians and provide humanitarian aid to the people caught in the crossfire. However, the situation quickly deteriorated, and the crew found themselves caught in the middle of a brutal battle between the two warring factions. Talar played a key role in coordinating security and evacuations, but he was unable to prevent several civilian casualties. Despite their best efforts, the crew was unable to fully succeed in their mission, and they were forced to withdraw from the planet.
U.S.S Hipparchus (2400-2401)
After leaving the USS Sentinel, Talar was assigned to the USS Hipparchus, On the Hipparchus, he changed his role to a Operations Officer, but he was able to focus more on training and mentorship as the ship was not assigned to any major missions or conflicts. Despite the relative tranquility of the ship, Talar’s reputation as a skilled and reliable officer grew, and he became a valuable member of the ship’s senior security staff. He also took an interest in the ship’s holodeck programs, using them as a way to unwind and relax in his downtime.
During his time on the USS Hipparchus, Talar continued to excel in his role as a Operations Officer. He led several training exercises and drills, helping to ensure that the ship’s security team was prepared for any possible threats. He also worked closely with the ship’s science and medical staff, often providing security and safety support for their missions and activities. In addition,he became known for his dry sense of humor and easy charm, often lightening the mood in tense situations.
