Frank Negrescu

Captain (ret.) Frank Negrescu was a career intelligence officer who worked in special operations from 2350 until the mid 2380s, when, as his age caught up to him, he took an intelligence advisory role at Starfleet Headquarters where he lobbied, to little success, for a more aggressive approach to foreign policy. With a career stunted by the non-acknowledgeable nature of his successes, Negrescu only came out of the shadows once when, in 2371, he enrolled in the Command Academy, only to be expelled within a few months due concerns of moral turpitude.

Negrescu is distrustful of others due to a life spent working in the darkest corners of the galaxy. He keeps few friends, besides the phaser under his pillow, and sees enemies behind every shadow. During his later years when he worked as an advisor at Starfleet Headquarters, he was known as an interventionist warmonger, and many were relieved when, at last, the 64 year old captain retired in 2389.
