Dr Rebecca Albany

Lieutenant Commander Dr Rebecca Albany serves aboard the USS Albion as it’s Chief Medical Officer.

Dr Albany is strong – willed and voices her opinion in her distinctive Scottish – brogue, whenever anyone is foolish to challenge her authority on matters Medical.

A highly experienced clinician with a background in emergency medicine and public health, Dr Albany has served aboard a number of Starfleet vessels dedicated to the provision of Humanitarian Aid and Disaster – relief.

Rebecca has a robust sense of humor, a love of the great outdoors and has an encyclopedic knowledge of good Whiskey and no tolerance for bad – Whiskey.

Rebecca is a talented Physician and is naturally inquisitive and relates well to people – traits that make for a good bedside manner and drives a passion for medical research.

Dr Albany has participated in a wide variety of Humanitarian Mission on behalf of Starfleet and cannot abide cruelty or subjugation of the weak. A lifetime of providing critical care and disaster relief has exposed Rebecca to a myriad of injury and suffering and to say that she has a strong stomach – would be an understatement.

Rebecca recently divorced from her wife of 15 years, due to her singular dedication to Starfleet and medicine – which led to irreconcilable differences, but still maintains a friendly dialogue with Shireen – who has custody of their daughter Thala – who Rebecca misses very much and regrets not being present to see her grow.

Doc Albany is outgoing and possesses a wry sense of humor and has the dubious reputation of being able to drink just about anybody aboard the USS Albion under the table, when the situation requires.
