Bullwura Mellasitox

Born several years before the commencement of the Dominion War, Bullwura was on Betazed as a child and witnessed the Jem Hadar attack and later occupation of her homeworld. The visions of Jem Hadar boots on the ground have never left her but more importantly neither has the compassion, the strength and leadership of the Starfleet officers who cared for the civilian population during and following the war. They showed her the strength of the Federation against impossible odds.

To this day, Bullwura credits those heroic officers for her journey into Starfleet, every day she hopes to show the same strength and leadership to her crew. She is still relatively young in her career, having ascended to Captaincy following the Frontier Day incident, she has found herself in the centre chair earlier than planned and sometimes her nerves show. Some call her naive, but she would rather that than uncaring.
