History

Early Life (2363-2380)

Scott was born in Greece on a military base, where he lived two years before he moved back to the states with his parents. Linguistics became easy to him because of the multi lingual family he was raised in. As he got older it was apparent to those that watched him that he was going to be some sort of engineer because he was always taking things apart and inspecting things until he understood how he could take them apart and put them back together again without any difficulty.

Due to his aptitude in mathematics, engineering, and science he advanced through curriculum much quicker than that of his classmates. After a recruitment presentation from Starfleet to Scotts school a recruiter approached Scott and discussed the possibilities of joining Starfleet.

Once the achievements that Scott had made throughout schooling was made apparent to the Starfleet Corp of Engineers instructors they sought after him to test him for eligibility into the Starfleet Engineering Program. Scott scored very high in the test that were administered, thus began his Journey within Starfleet.

Starfleet Academy (2380-2384)

Scotts time in Starfleet Academy went by quickly due to his determination and extensive adaptability. Scott made friends naturally through the years of his time in the Academy. These friends helped to round of his knowledge of more than just engineering. He was apart of every group, “clique”, but not a member of any one specific group.

Scott was able to maintain a 3.6 through the Academy because of his innate ability to understand things and absorb knowledge while it was presented to him. This frustrated many of his peers because it showed no effort was required for Scott to maintain his grades without the need of extra study.

Starting his third year through the end of his schooling, Scott was assigned to the San Francisco Fleet Yards every other quarter under a different duty assignment. Each time he was able to absorb the ins and outs of overall ship operations through the positions he was assigned to during his rotations. Through the roles of repair technician and engineering positions.

Starfleet Corps of Engineers – Research Station Omicron Theta (2384-2388)

Due to his ability to soak up knowledge about different departments as perceived by his superior’s during his stint at the fleet yard, as well as his professors at the Academy, Scott was recommended to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers as a great asset to the construction of Research Station Omicron Theta.

Scotts willingness to take on any assignment that was required caught the attention of Commander Eli Bates, the head of structural integrity for the station. Eli became a father figure to Scott through his mentorship to Scott during his time on the station. Eli became fond of Scott because of his ability to overcome any challenge that Eli threw at him, within regulations or through unorthodox solutions.

Because of his hard work and dedication to the post he was stationed Scott increased in rank twice during his time on the station. His rank to Lieutenant came right before the end of the project due to his outstanding performance being noticed by the SCE.

After the completion of the station Scott was excited to see where he was going to go next, but was surprised when Eli told him that he would be joining him aboard the Trinity, where he was to be the Captain of Engineering.

USS Trinity (2389-2400)

Scott was given the opportunity of being the Assistant Chief Engineer due to his hard work and knowledge shown throughout his duty assignment with Eli. Scott learned every aspect in making sure a starship could run through Eli’s tutelage.

With his exceptional record of performance at his command and after spending such an extensive time with Eli, it was determined that Scott was ready to take up the assignment of Chief Engineer on a station or ship of his own. Eli was asked to take another assignment and Scott was offered the position on the USS Trinity, where he accepted the role due to Eli’s recommendation and high praise. Due to the acceptance of chief engineer he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander.

Devron Fleet Yards (2400-2401)

Scott was highly recommended to oversee the finalization of the USS Tianwen’s construction by Eli, with the expectation of becoming the ships Chief Engineer upon its completion. Scott diligently went over every aspect to as many projects with a fine toothed comb as he could. Due to the ships specialty this was paramount to ensure proper operation.

USS Tianwen (2401-Present)

Upon the completion of the ship Scott was presented the position of Chief Engineer and promoted to the rank of Commander. The ship became part of the Neptune Advance Exploration Division: Fourth Fleets Task Force 93.
