Lieutenant Carter is a skilled and resourceful officer and is very passionate about her job but she also harbors a complex past.

Vice Admiral Dr. Racheal Sheppard is a Human female Starfleet flag officer currently a professor at Starfleet Medical Academy she also has a set on the Academy Board. She is married to Consul Theodore Sheppard with whom she has two children; Kyle and Tiana. Admiral Sheppard is an exceptionally skilled doctor who spent her career healing anyone and everyone who needed it regardless of their past or alligencies. She has a very compassionate personality and she takes the time to listen to her children’s concerns and make them feel like their heard. Her humor often pits her patience at ease in life-threatening situations and her sarcasm cuts down anyone who attempts to challenge her medical expertise. That all being said she does put the needs of her family above anything including her career and her own life.
Theodore Sheppard
Consul Theodore Sheppard is a Human male and the Earth’s Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. He is married to Vice Admiral Rachael Sheppard with whom he has two kids; Kyle and Tiana. Consul Sheppard had served in Starfleet in a variety of positions rising to the rank of Admiral before his retirement; reserved in science, intelligence, and the diplomatic corps. He tries to be active in his kids’ lives. However, his efforts have been less than ideal with his work as the Federation Sonsul on Khitomer. As such Kyle and Tianan barely have a relationship with their father. They rarely ever see him and when they do they are uncertain of what to do together. This has compromised his relationship with relationship with his wife as well.
Tiana Sheppard
Petty Officer Tiana Sheppard is a Human female enlisted Starfleet member. She is currently stationed aboard the USS Paramount and serves as Commander Nitus’ yeoman.
