Klingons were in the sickbay recovering from getting out of their ship under the ice and in the deep ocean of Thalor V and on to Bakersfield. Klingons in sickbay said, ” We want to see the captain of this ship now.”
Five said, “I’ll let the captain know, but don’t expect a visit soon. He is preoccupied with the mission.” Five then continued to work. Klingons were wondering about their Targs on their ship, and Five just mentioned they were the only survivors of the crash. Klingons pounded their fist against the bed, “Let me see the captain now,” one shouted. Five keyed the bridge, and Simon answered, then came down.
“I am Captain Simon of the USS Bakersfield. What is the trouble?” Said Simon to the Klingon on the bed.
“Let me out of here now,” said Wevam.
“We can’t until you’re healed, then we head back to the station and let you go with your people,” said Simon. Five started to shoo the captain away from the bed as she pushed buttons on the keypad to warm up the Klingon, whose skin was frozen-looking. Wevam just looked at Simon and smiled. ” We will trust you to get us back then.”
Simon slowly paced the sick bay as the Klingon said they would trust us to get back. “Wevam, will you be kind enough to tell us about the battle that took place above Thalor V?”
“We have no obligation to tell you of battles the Klingon Empire does,” Wevam said. Wevam was still in bed healing, looked at the captain, and pondered for just a moment about asking what kind of ship this was. Then realized it was only three of them vs a whole crew. He lay back down and rested.
Simon started back up to the bridge and then contacted engineering to ready warp power. It was time for the distress signal in space; they got on the way over to Thalor V. After the distress signal, it was time to head to Framheim Station and drop off the surviving Klingons.
They then arrived at the distress signal in space 20 light-years from Thalor V, and in some unknown region, had to pursue this action to find their missing outpost.
