Sam just replied “Damage Report” to Ten. Sam listed off what was damaged. ” Warp nacelle damaged, impulse engines damaged, warp core thirty percent down.” Then ten went to work to check on the ship and contacted the bridge.

“Ten to Simon, damage report from our time in the upper atmosphere, minor damage to the right nacelle, shield down where a big piece of the battle hit us and took our shields down. Also Sam seems to be more hurt then her body is letting on, checking on that.” Simon received this and just told Ten do what you do best and fix Bakersfield and Sam.

Sam was wondering what is taking so long on the repairs since this was her first major damage .

“Ten, what is taking so long repairing my major damage.” said Sam

“Sam, it’s not major just some minor damage, do a level 1 diagnostic on your systems. Your readings are wrong.” Then Ten went back to work and fixed the warp core and had someone fixed the nacelle as he powered it down.

“Simon, this is Ten we can’t go to warp right now until the nacelle is fixed.” said Ten.

“Ten, take your time just fix it and first along with other damages to the propulstion,” said Simon.

They started down the repairs and Sam was still giving them trouble during it.

“Ten, Why is the warp engines offline, we might need emergency warp power. I am here to protect the crew.” Sam said.

“Don’t mess with the warp engines, a nacelle has minor damage and we are repairing it.” Ten said to Sam.

As they repaired Bakersfield, all of sudden  “Captain, been scanning Azetbur and found something that attacked Stu. It was  bigger then the Azetbur and was eating the Azetbur and not going after Stu. Preliminary reports are not conclusive yet. Still doing scans in different light. Did notice ultraviolet light stirred the lifeforms a little and it was from space.” said 2B. Bakersfield was repaired in two hours with the warp core and nacelle taking 5 hours. The repairs weren’t extensive , but they were exhaustive on the human crew where they only had a communication device implanted in their brain for instant communication  if needed. They slowly went back into low orbit and stayed there and waited for the pilot that communicated to Bakersfield to receive help and using another shuttle sent it down.

Sam started to feel better as her circuit’s to the warp core and warp drive came back online after ten restored her control to that part of the ship. They scanned more of the planet by using Azetbur as a focus point. Then explored more as they settle in for a long week of scanning.
