USS Savannah: All along the Watchtower

Having survived the ordeal of the Labyrinth, Samantha Hyland and the crew of the USS Savannah limp home to the nearest drydock, but Sam's decision to release Gul Yomat Ghallir to the custody of the Obsidian Order, returns to haunt the young Captain.

Mission Description

Having survived the tribulations experienced within the anomaly, now known to be a mere adjunct to a greater subspace – spanning system called “The Labyrinth”, Lieutenant Commander Samantha Hyland and the crew of the battered New Orleans – class Frigate, USS Savannah, seek out a drydock to heal the wounds (both actual and psychological) sustained during their ordeal.

With repairs underway, Sam is forced to account for her actions in Underspace in front of a tribunal aboard the aging Watchtower – class Starbase – Terminus Station and the young crew spend some welcome time aboard – station to reflect on their unlikely survival.

But events within the former Demilitarized Zone are poised to drag Sam Hyland and her fledgling crew back into the fray, as reports of increased Cardassian military action is reported throughout the volume. Activity seemingly in relation to the cornucopia of new portals into Underspace that have appeared throughout the Alpha Quadrant and beyond.

The USS Savannah is, once – more, dispatched to surveil the suspicious Cardassian activity and report back their findings to Starfleet command, as the action intensifies in “All along the Watchtower.”
