Security Office Report #4 – Updates & New Supported Game

Hello Gamers,

Bravo Fleet continues to show impressive support for gaming. The Security Office Staff have been working hard in delivering various gaming opportunities for our members.

Since January 1, 2025, the Security Office has endorsed and completed 16 Gaming Events hosted by both Security Office members and general members of Bravo Fleet. The Security Office staff has also hosted 22 Offcycle Gaming Sessions during this time frame. That is 38 separate gaming opportunities in which folks could participate. Truly – a job well done to all!

Now, time for some updates.

Discord Update – Supported Games

New Internal Clean-Up Process

On the Bravo Fleet Discord, we have a dedicated forum channel for our supported games. Initially, the plan was to put any supported game channel there, and that would be a spot for members to engage specifically with that game.

Activity in those channels has varied quite a bit, and the Security Office has decided to implement an internal process to ensure regular cleaning of inactive channels.

We will be keeping this simple:

• All channels will have a timer reset as of this announcement.
• Moving forward: If channels have inactivity for greater than 30-days – the Security Office will flag the channel for review and likely deletion.
• If a supported game channel has been deleted and activity for that game has resurged, members can request to any Security Office staff member for the supported game forum channel to return. The final decision on this channel return will be with the Bravo Fleet Security Officer.

This practice should maintain a cleaner list of channels. If you want your gaming channel to stay, make sure to post and encourage activity and discussion in that relevant forum channel.

The above conditions have been placed in the post-guidelines section of the supported games forum channel.

Policy Updates

New Supported Game – Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 [W40KSM2]

The Security Office received an informal request to consider adding W40KSM2 to the supported gaming repertoire. We discussed as a team and formally decided to add this game to the supported category.

When reviewing any game for inclusion in supported policy, we reflect on the following principles from the Supported Games section of our gaming policy.

1. Compatibility with the Bravo Fleet awarding system for actions inside the game;

2. Appropriate content for playing;

3. Multiplayer, either in a PvE, PvP arena or a combination of; and

4. Ease of grouping up players on the same server or instance

Outside of those criteria, we also like to see a certain number of casual activity submissions for games before they are entered into the supported catalogue. W40KSM2 checked all those boxes, so we are happy to endorse it into policy and hope to see continued submissions for it!
